PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) On Wednesday, a woman was arrested and charged after exposing an infant to narcotics.
Pittsburgh Police responded to a call on Tuesday about an unresponsive five-month-old female who had been brought to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.
When officers arrived, they helped firefighters and paramedics render aide to the child.
The child was transferred to UPMC Children's Hospital in stable condition after being administered Narcan.
An investigation was opened and it resulted in the arrest of Elizabeth Rexrode, 41, of Pittsburgh.
Rexrode was charged with Endangering Welfare of Children, Recklessly Endangering another Person, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
