Woman charged after young son was exposed to cocaine

A 28-year-old Mt. Oliver woman is facing endangerment and drug charges after her child was exposed to cocaine and hospitalized.

Allegheny County Police say what they suspect is cocaine and drug paraphernalia were in areas accessible to Toni Hinton's 7-year-old boy.

He tested positive for cocaine metabolite.

He was treated and released from Children's Hospital.

Hinton was arrested and transported to Allegheny County jail.

She faces charges of endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangering another person and possession of cocaine.
