A Kittanning woman is facing drug possession charges after accepting a ride from a Pennsylvania State Police trooper.
State Police released information on Monday about the incident that happened on February 27 in Bethel Township, Armstrong County.
The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Lacey Reesman, was in a disabled vehicle along Dime Road when a trooper stopped.
According to the trooper, Reesman “related she needed a ride.”
“She grabbed two bags from the passenger seat of her vehicle,” the trooper said in a release.
The trooper says he saw “drug paraphernalia in plain view.”
The paraphernalia was seized by state police and Reesman was charged.
