The 29-year-old Plum woman with a warrant for vehicular homicide while driving impaired turned herself Friday morning.

Allegheny County Police say Alyssa Galiano is also charged with child endangerment.

Officers say Galiano was drunk and had a 7-month-old infant in the back seat when her speeding SUV crossed the center line on Freeport Road and hit another SUV in January.

A passenger in that vehicle, 74-year-old Michael Vernon, was killed.

The driver, 68-year-old Maria Vernon, was critically injured.
