For the second time this week, a child is dead after being hit by a car.
The latest incident happened Tuesday night in Harrison Township.
Police say a girl was walking on foot on Kuntz Street when she was hit by the vehicle around 7:30.
First responders tried to save the girl’s life but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene.

On Sunday afternoon, a six-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle on Rosedale Street in Homewood South.
She was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, where she died a short time later.
