On Monday, the nation's largest theater chain announced new pricing based on seat location.
Middle seats will cost a dollar or two more.
AMC says the pricing plan has been rolled out in some locations and will be in place by the end of the year at all theaters.
AMC has Pittsburgh-area locations at the Waterfront in Homestead, Greenburg, South Hills Village, Mount Lebanon and one in Sarver.
