A BMW SUV smashed into a Pope John Paul II High School classroom in Slidell, La., early this morning, resulting in the cancellation of classes today. Classes are expected to resume Tuesday.

St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 was on scene, reporting no injuries to the driver, or anyone else. A Department statement said that the driver “accidentally drove into the school”. Kimberly Kilroy, the head of the school, told WWL TV that it was an adult driver whose brakes failed.
