The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that it was Customs and Border Protection agents who were at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, but that their appearance had “nothing to do with the Dodgers.”

A post on the organization’s official account revealed that agents “requested permission to access the parking lots” before the organization denied them entry.

“Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled,” the post concluded.

This comes as the organization is set to make an announcement regarding support for L.A.’s immigrant communities. The organization has received backlash for its silence on the ongoing ICE raids in the city and in L.A. County.

Kiké Hernández, however, made a post on Instagram addressing the raids.

“I am saddened and infuriated by what’s happening in our country and our city,” he wrote. “Los Angeles and Dodger fans have welcomed me, supported me and shown me nothing but kindness and love. This is my second home. And I cannot stand to see our community being violated, profiled, abused and ripped apart. ALL people deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and human rights.”
