A Pittsburgh teacher was nominated for a top education award.
Kevin Gallagher was a finalist for the NEA Member Benefits Award for Teaching Excellence.
He's an outstanding math and computer science educator at Keystone Oaks High School.
Gallagher was honored Friday night, invited to attend the NEA's event in Washington, D.C. known as the "Academy Awards of Education."
He previously received the Horace Mann Award for Teaching Excellence and $10,000.
