PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) The University of Pittsburgh has given their students an update to their students regarding the Spring 2021 semester.
The University has told their students to "remain where they are currently residing," and not travel back to campus, yet.
The first day of the semester is scheduled to be Jan. 19, 2021.
The University said they will provide updates to students and notify them two weeks before they are permitted to return to campus.
As of right now, the earliest Pitt has advised students to travel is the final week of January, urging all students (whether they live on campus of not) to not travel to the area.
Pitt also reminds students that are coming in from out of state to follow all travel guidance as well as local restrictions.
This includes providing a negative test or a 10-day quarantine upon entering the state.
Further details are expected to be released next week.
