The legal back and forth over masks in Pennsylvania schools continues, with Pennsylvania's Supreme Court ruling the mandate, which was supposed to expire Saturday, will stay in place for now.
Commonwealth Court had ruled earlier this month Acting Health Secretary Alison Beam lacked authority to issue the mandate, but the Wolf Administration quickly appealed.
Though the State Supreme Court's 5-1 decision Tuesday keeps masks in schools, it said that could change after it hears oral argument in Wolf's appeal next week.
Wolf previously announced he would turn masking decisions back over to schools.
