The winning ticket in the $516 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold in Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Lottery says the ticket matched all five white balls and the yellow Mega Ball in the May 21 drawing.
The winning numbers for the drawing are: 6-9-17-18-48, and Mega Ball 8
The winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Levittown, Bucks County.
The Lottery says this is the third and largest Mega Millions jackpot won in the state since joining the game.
In May of 2014, a Pittsburgh man won $149 million and in July of 2015, $153 million was won by a Virginia truck driver who was passing through the state.
This recent jackpot run began in mid-February and resulted in nearly $42 million in sales for the Pennsylvania Lottery and more than $16 million in profit that benefits older Pennsylvanians.
