
It was a busy holiday weekend for Pennsylvania State Police.
They are reporting a total of 1,075 crashes responded to during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (November 27 – December 1). Seven of those crashes were fatal with 194 people injured.
Of those accidents 64 were a result of people driving under the influence, leaving one person dead.
A total of 552 drivers were arrested across PA for driving under the influence.
State Police also say they cited over 7,70 drivers for speeding, more 1,000 for not wearing a seat belt and another 124 for not having kids secured in a safety seat.
