The unemployment rate in Pennsylvania dropped by 1% according to the Department of Labor & Industry.
The drop puts the rate at 7.3% for the month of October, slightly higher than the national rate of 6.9%, which also dropped by 1% in October.
Still, Pennsylvania's October unemployment rate is nearly 3% higher than it was for the same month in 2019. The national rate is more than 3% higher than it was for the same month last year.
