In an effort to combat the bus driver shortage, PennDot and the Pennsylvania Department of Education joined the Pennsylvania School Bus Association encouraging those interested to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

PennDot Deputy Secretary Kurt Myers is hoping to encourage those looking for employment or supplemental income to obtain a school bus endorsement to get kids back to school.  Myers says “We believe these efforts will help to ensure the safe and effective transportation of our commonwealth students.”
