PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded to a Shotspotter alert and 911 calls for a shooting on East Carson St. Friday night.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of E Carson St. and S 17th St. around 11:50 p.m.
Responding officers and medics found two males who had suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital.
One of the victims was transported in critical condition.
The mobile crime unit arrived to process the scene and begin an investigation, E Carson St. between S 14th and S 17th Streets were closed to pedestrian traffic.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction and has not yet been found.
No arrests have been made.
