The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the western Pennsylvania region.
Up to 6 to 9 inches of snow is is possible in some areas with heavy snowfall at times.
Motorists should be extra cautious as road conditions could be hazardous. Traffic conditions can be checked 24 hours a day on the KDKA Radio Waze Map.
The Storm Watch will be in effect from 7am Wednesday through 7am Thursday for parts of northwest, southwest and western PA.
The Wolf administration reminds residents to prepare for the possible storms by prepping a home emergency kit and learn what you should do in the event of a winter storm emergency.
