Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians has spent his coaching career around some of the best quarterbacks of this generation and in history.
Names like Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Ben Roethlisberger and now Tom Brady.
He’s been called a quarterback whisperer by some but speaking to reporters during Super Bowl week, Arians said there wasn’t much to teach or tweak with his current quarterback Brady.
He says along with Manning; Brady is the most prepared quarterback he’s ever coached. Big Ben isn’t one of them.
“Ben didn’t want that stuff . . . he just like to go play and he knew what he was doing but you didn’t want to overload him,” said Arians.
Arians was the Steelers offensive coordinator from 2007-2011.
Arians was by no means blasting Big Ben but it does make you think what if Ben did “want that stuff?”
