PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A pretty clean injury sheet for the Steelers Wednesday. Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster given the day off.

Roethlisberger said earlier on Wednesday his elbow felt great.

"It's probably the only part of my body that felt good when I came out of the game," Roethlisberger said. "That's encouraging and positive."

Linebacker Robert Spillane was able to go through a limited practice after injuring his shin during pregame Sunday.

Carlos Davis worked in as part of the rotation on Sunday, finished with a solo tackle.  He was limited at practice with a knee injury.  Veteran Tyson Alualu praised the work of some of the young defensive lineman during the opening game.

“You got to trust in the younger guys to come in and not have that drop off and play well,” Alualu said.  “I think giving them some experience with Tuitt out definitely helps our group as a whole.  Knowing that we can rely on other people other than just Cam and Tuitt.”
