PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – There is a chance defensive lineman Cam Heyward plays on Thursday. The Steelers defensive captain listed as a full participant in practice on Tuesday with other injury news.
Heyward hasn’t played since injuring his groin against the 49ers in Week One and was a limited participant last Thursday and Friday. Now, Tuesday’s practice was a walk-through, meaning no physical contact, but Heyward did go through everything.
Also full on Tuesday were safety Damontae Kazee with a hand injury and running back Anthony McFarland, Junior-who has practiced full going on his third week and has yet to be activated. McFarland must be active by Monday or will be lost for the season due to injured reserve rules.
Corner Levi Wallace was a limited participant as was QB Kenny Pickett with his rib injury. Wallace missed Sunday’s game, Pickett said he went through all the drills and says he will play against Tennessee.
Steelers will hold a practice tomorrow morning before listing their final injury report for the Titans game.
