PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Going with the tenor of the holiday, the Steelers will open some new, old presents on Christmas with several key players cleared to play against the Chiefs on Wednesday.

Out the last two weeks, wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring) is cleared to play. Even Pickens said he knows how much the offense missed him. Russell Wilson said you can count on one hand how many people in the NFL can do what he does.

Safety DeShon Elliott (hamstring)-the defense hasn’t been the same with him out. A sure tackler and second-best on the team, Elliott returns after missing two games.

Corner Donte Jackson has been dealing with a pinched nerve in his back for weeks. The Steelers leading intercepter returns Wednesday and in time as Joey Porter, Junior (knee) will not play.

Defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi has been dealing with a groin injury. He returns after missing the last couple of games.

WR Ben Skowronek is out and quarterback Justin Fields is questionable for Christmas Day.
