The Pirates have made another series of roster moves ahead of their Wednesday night game in Milwaukee.
Left-handed pitcher Evan Sisk is back after a stint on the 15-day injured list with left elbow inflammation.
To make room on the roster, RHP Wilber Dotel was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Dotel gave up three hits and one run on Tuesday night over two innings of work in a 4-2 loss to the Brewers.
Sisk has a 2.23 ERA this season over 36.1 innings. He has 43 strikeouts over 32 appearances in 2026.
He last pitched on July 29 against the Phillies before going on the IL.
The 29-year-old Sisk struck out three over two scoreless innings in a rehab stint with the Indians.
The Pirates also made the release of Marcell Ozuna officials and called up Ronny Simon from Triple-A
Simon is currently hitting .330 with the Indians.
He has 33 stolen bases, seven home runs, 63 RBI and an OPS of .889.
