Injured Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes is disputing a claim that he is unhappy in Pittsburgh
Talking to the Cook & Joe Show earlier this week, The Fan's Colin Dunlap said Hayes has, "given the impression that he probably wouldn't resist being put on the trade block, if it came to that."
Dunlap added he has heard that Ke'Bryan's dad, Charlie Hayes, a former MLB player himself, has been in his son's ear and that they aren't happy.
But Hayes, through the Post-Gazette's Jason Mackey, tells him he was "caught off guard" when he heard about the report from his mother.
"It's not true. I'm fine here," said Hayes.
He did say he is frustrated with his nagging back injury, that is affecting him for the second time in two years.
"I've always loved being here," added Hayes. "The fans have always treated me well.
