Steelers defensive captain Cam Heyward continues to make his case for Defensive Player of the Year.

The 11-year veteran recorded his second career interception with just a little over two minutes left in the first quarter of the Steelers Monday night game against the Chicago Bears.
Heyward picked off Bears quarterback Justin Field on a 2nd and 11 on the Chicago 41-yard line giving the Steelers great field position.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would connect with tight end Pat Freiermuth a few plays later to give the Steelers a 14-0 lead in the 2nd quarter.
Along with outside linebacker T.J. Watt, Heyward has been a force for the Steelers defense through the season with 40 total tackles, one forced fumble, five tackles for a loss, five quarterback hits, five passed defended and 2.5 sacks through the first half of the season.
