A Steeler for life?

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and free agent JuJu Smith-Schuster tells TMZ Sports he wants to stay in black and gold.

"At the end of the day, I want to have my legacy in Pittsburgh and retire there," Smith-Schuster told TMZ. "I don't want to leave."

Asked if he would consider The Los Angeles Rams or Chargers, JuJu said, “until I get let go, I’m in Pittsburgh for life.”

Last week Smith-Schuster told the Yinzhers podcast that he wants to play with a great quarterback and that Roethlisberger is one of them.

Smith-Schuster says he has “chemistry” with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, that he wants to keep playing with him and doesn’t understand why the Steelers would even consider cutting him.

“For them to let him go, or even think about it, it wouldn’t be the best because I would love to play with Ben,” said Smith-Schuster.

JuJu also said that he believes Roethlisberger can still take Pittsburgh to the Super Bowl that that he is a lock for the Hall of Fame.

While Smith-Schuster has said repeatedly that he wants to stay in Pittsburgh, he will likely get some big offers from a team like the Jets or Rams, making it hard for Pittsburgh to keep him, even if they wanted to, with their current salary cap situation.

But if Ben is coming back (which it looks like he is) maybe Smith-Schuster does sign another deal with Pittsburgh…but probably not.
