Le’Veon Bell joined Jersey Jerry and Kevin Adams on the most recent episode of the Steel Here podcast and had a lot of interesting things to say.

One of those tidbits was he used to smoke marijuana before each game.

The former Steelers star running back brought it up while talking about the infamous marijuana arrest in 2014 that led to him being suspended for three games.

Bell and then follow Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount were stopped an arrested in Ross Township with 20 grans of weed found in a black Camaro that was driven by Bell.

Bell said on the Steel Here podcast that smoking in the car, while heading to the airport was not a smart decision. “Man, I shouldn’t of smoked in the car.”

He regrets being in the car but not smoking.

“Looking back on this, like bro, like, that’s what I did,” said Bell. “When I was playing football, I smoked bro. like even before the games I’d smoke, you know, I’d go out there and run for 150 (yards) two (touchdowns).”

Adams pointed out that Bell wasn’t alone in players that smoke before playing.

The reason Bell and other players would be able to smoke before a game is because it was after the drug test.
