PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Odd enough the Pirates would take a player off waivers from a team worse than them, but there is another odd Pittsburgh connection.

Pirates claimed right-handed pitcher Eric Hanhold Wednesday from the Baltimore Orioles.  The 28-year-old was acquired by the Mets from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for NEIL WALKER in September of 2017.  Orioles picked up Hanhold off waivers from New York in September of 2019.
