The Pirates have made a couple roster moves ahead of a seven-game home stand at PNC Park after taking two out of three games from the Cubs at Wrigley Field over the weekend.
Left-handed pitcher Hunter Barco has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis to make room for lefty Evan Sisk.
The 28-year-old Sisk is 1-0 for the Indians with a 1.17 ERA over 7.2 innings pitched.
He has 14 strikeouts and a .200 batting average against in six appearances.
Sisk made 14 appearances for the Pirates last season with a 4.38 ERA over 12.1 innings pitched. He had 14 strikeouts after he was traded by Kansas City at the deadline to Pittsburgh.
Sisk will wear #48 for the Pirates.
Barco has a 6.43 ERA and is 0-1 over 4 appearances and 7 innings with five strikeouts.
The Pirates open up a four-game series against the Nationals with Paul Skenes taking the mound at PNC Park Monday night.
