The Florida State Seminoles proved to be a pesky opponent yet again for the Panthers, after they won last time out at the Peterson Events Center.

The threes were on early again for Pitt to start the game and propelled them to an 8-point lead within the first 10 minutes.

Florida State got it going inside the paint to close out the first half with only 4 points between the two.

They tied the game at 45 midways in the second half as the Panthers went cold from three to start the half.

The Panthers bore down and broke away again with Sibande and Burton leading the way to close the game.

Blake Hinson and Jamarius Burton led the team scoring 19 points apiece. Greg Elliott also racked up 13 points with 4 threes and Nike Sibande had 12 points off the bench. Federiko Federiko also raked up a huge 13 rebounds.

The Panthers will be back in action on Valentines Day, Tuesday, against Boston College at home.
