PNC Park to operate at 100% capacity beginning July 1

PNC Park will be rockin’ at full capacity just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.

The Pirates will operate at full capacity beginning July 1 against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The organization Will be taking steps in the next few weeks to begin transitioning to full capacity.

They will begin by operating at 55 percent capacity in June

Phase 1: All 12 home games from Thursday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 23, will operate with an approximate three-foot social distancing between seating allotments. This will result in an increase in ballpark capacity of approximately 55-percent capacity.

· Phase 2: Beginning Thursday, July 1, PNC Park will operate at full capacity with all seating restrictions lifted.

All tickets for the rest of the season will go on sale next Wednesday (May 26) at 10 a.m.

The Pirates continue to encourage everyone who is able to get a vaccination to do so. Fans who have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19 are not required to wear a mask inside the park.

All COVID-19 mitigation efforts expire in Pennsylvania on May 31. The mask mandate was lifted last week, but private businesses can still choose to enforce a mask policy.
