The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly signing a solid tight end to their practice squad.

Released by the Steelers last week, Zach Gentry is reportedly signed with the AFC North rival.

The Steelers decided to keep rookie, third-round pick Darnell Washington.

Gentry was taken in the fifth-round of the 2019 draft by the Steelers.

Over four years in Pittsburgh, Gentry appeared in 40 games, starting in 26.

He had 39 catches for 303 yards, averaging 7.8 yards a catch and 18 first downs with zero touchdowns.

Gentry was one of the best blocking players for the Steelers.

Gentry signed a new one-year deal this past off season for over $1.2 million with a $152,500 signing bonus.
