Wide receiver Gabe Davis to meet with Steelers again

Wide receiver Gabe Davis is reportedly heading back to Pittsburgh for a second visit.

That’s according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Steelers are looking for WR help with Calvin Austin III dealing with an abdominal injury.

Ben Skowronek is also dealing with what offensive coordinator Arthur Smith called a toe injury.

Davis is a former Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars WR.

He’s scheduled for a visit on Tuesday.

Released by Jacksonville on May 7, the Jags owed Davis $11.5 million after releasing him, partly because of his injury.

Davis appeared in 10 games for Jacksonville last season, starting in 9.

He had 20 catches for 239 yards and two touchdowns in 2024 before suffering a meniscus tear in his left knew

Taken by the Bills in the fourth round of the 2020 draft, Davis has appeared in 74 career games with 183 catches for 2,969 yards and 29 touchdowns.
