Exes Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited backstage at the 2020 SAG Awards, reports NY Post.
Photos reveal the former married couple greeting each other with a big smile backstage at the award show.
The two appear to be going in for a hug, as Pitt holds Aniston’s wrist with one hand and his award for Outstanding Male Performance by a Male Actor in the other.
Pitt and Aniston both won earlier in the evening. Pitt nabbed the award for his role in Quention Tarantino’s "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." Aniston took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for "The Morning Show."
Two other photos reveal Pitt holding onto Aniston’s arm as she walks away.
Even as she makes her way to leave, Aniston's hand can be seen on Pitt's chest.
The moment has been highly anticipated all awards season.
Earlier in the night, Aniston, his ex-wife, smiled at a joke Pitt made during his acceptance speech about having difficulty relating to his character in "Once Upon a Time," sarcastically calling the "difficult part" about the "guy" who "doesn't get on with his wife" a "big stretch."
A video making the rounds on Twitter revealed Pitt watching Aniston's acceptance speech before their encounter.
At the Golden Globes earlier this month, the former couple had people buzzing over their night of near encounters.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight before the Globes, Pitt said "I'll run into Jen. She's a good friend."
During Pitt's acceptance speech later that evening, Aniston was seen to be smirking after a joke he made about not bringing his mother to the event.
“I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn’t because anyone I stand next to they say I’m dating. It’d just be awkward,” he said as cameras captured Aniston’s reaction.
