Women are working to get the word out about a groper at the Silver Lake Reservoir after warning signs about him were posted around the area.

A TikTok user by the name crayonhead shared her experience of being attacked by the groper. She said she saw a sign prior to the attack about the groper.
“It happened that was posted near the dog park, and it said that women were being grabbed and groped by a 6 ft, 250 pound man wearing workout clothes and an Apple Watch,” she said. “And so, because of that, I had my hand on my pepper spray trigger the entire walk.”
She said that when she went uphill in an area with no lights, she felt a man grab her, push her down, and grope her. She said she fought back until he ran away.
KNX News’ Karen Adams spoke with women exercising in the area on Tuesday about the warning.
“I think it’s important for people to be aware of what's going on,” one woman said. “I think community is very important. I think we should all just raise awareness of what might happen, just because there are a lot of families and we want to have a safe environment here.”
Adams reported that she spoke with the woman who posted the warning and that she had gone to the police.
