A popular artist known for collaborating with high-end fashion brands is debuting a first-ever line of sports clothing featuring the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs.
The Takashi Murakami x MLB collection is happening at the Complex shop at 433 N Fairfax Ave. The collection features jerseys, t-shirts, hats, keychains, trading cards, and baseball bats. Some of the items feature floral prints and colorful characters.
“Murakami has a special place in his heart for the Dodgers and the Cubs, so he wanted to do something very special for them, and this is not something he just goes out and does,” a sales representative told KNX News’ Craig Fiegener. “This is the first time he's doing something with the sports team.”

The collection comes as the two teams are set to face off in the Tokyo Series to open the 2025 MLB season on March 18 and 19.
Prices for items start at $50.
The pop-up is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday or until they sell out of items.
