Adam Plutko of the Cleveland Indians picked the wrong time to pitch his best game of the season, as the Royals managed to win this evening by a score of 1-0.
Plutko allowed one run in seven innings on Saturday night, but the Indians were held scoreless for the eighth time this season in a 1-0 loss to the Royals at Progressive Field. The loss ended the Tribe's six-game winning streak, and helped Kansas City suffer a sweep.
Jakob Junis allowed only two hits in six innings and had seven strikeouts.
Ian Kennedy retired the Indians in order in the ninth for his 17th save
