Heading into next month's veteran minicamp, one the bigger tasks on the Chiefs' offseason list remains putting together their new offensive line. Newcomers Orlando Brown Jr., Joe Thuney, Kyle Long, Creed Humphrey, and Austin Blythe will obviously give the line a significantly different look and feel than last season, and on Friday afternoon, voice of the Chiefs Mitch Holthus called into 610's The Drive to talk about why he's so excited about this year's group.
"I'm very excited about this offensive line because I think there's going to be an edge to these guys," he said. "I know Orlando Brown is going to bring it, but even then, you go up and down the line, I know Kyle Long can bring it that way, and Creed Humphrey's definitely wired that way. So I'm very excited about this offensive line and what it can be. I think the ceiling's very high for them."
