Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco and his deputies were on hand for a large protest that took part in Downtown Riverside on Monday evening over the death of George Floyd.
While the protest was quiet and maintained, the most amazing moment was captured on camera when Bianco and his team joined a group of protesters by taking a knee together.
"The message to the community is 'This does nothing'" Bianco said. "Your voices mean everything, actions do not."
Bianco went on to add, "If all of us want to come together to make a difference, especially here, then the only way we're going to do that is together."
Earlier in the day, Riverside County announced a countywide curfew that began at 6pm (June 1st) and lasts until 6am (June 2nd).
