
Disneyland, Seaworld, and Universal have all announced that they are prepared to open as soon as California health officials provides requirements and safety guidelines.
All properties including Knott's Berry Farm have been able to open select shops and dining, but all attractions and rides continue to be closed. Disneyland was prepared to open July 17th, but had to postpone due to spiking coronavirus numbers. All theme parks have been closed since March.
Disneyland is located in Orange County which has become one of the first counties in California to come off of the coronavirus watch list. Even with the declining numbers, however, in order for Disneyland to open, California must enter stage 4 of the reopening process. Health officials say that they don't expect that to happen for another couple of months.
Meanwhile, Disney World in Orlando, Florida has been open since July 15th. The Governor of Florida has currently shared his approval for Disney World to expand their allowed capacity.
