The announcement was made today, that the remainder of the Hollywood Bowl season is officially cancelled.
The last time the Bowl went dark was 98 years ago. The Hollywood Bowl is famous for not only its beautiful amphitheatre and acoustics, but for hosting some of the biggest names in music, including the Zac Brown Band, The Beatles, Taylor Swift and others.
According to the LA Times, the decision was made by the L.A. Philharmonic Association today, who agreed it would be near impossible to hold any events at the Bowl this year, until the coronavirus issue has been resolved.
