Hunting season is going to be very different for Elmer Fudd.
The notorious rabbit hunter, Elmer Fudd, will have to get his nemesis, Bug Bunny, without a gun. The new reboot of "Looney Tunes" on HBO Max debuted a new Elmer Fudd who doesn't carry his signature gun for "hunting wabbits".
Instead, Elmer will continue to chase Bugs with a scythe. Looney Tunes Executive producer Peter Browngardt told the New York Post, “We’re not doing guns", although he did say that "cartoony violence" would continue.
