Mount Rubidoux is a local landmark that thousands of residents visit to hike daily. On Friday night the cross at the top of the landmark was vandalized.
According to Riverside Police Department's post, 3-4 males suspects in their 20's were seen using an ax and spray paint to damage the cross. In the department's IG post you can seen the red spray paint and a portion of the cross' base broken.
Unfortunately, the suspects were able to get away. They were seen leaving the scene in a light colored sedan.
