It seems like chain letters were a thing of the past, but given the pandemic that we're in people are bringing up a lot of things from the past.
I recently recevied a chain letter from a man who used to go by the screen name "Taco Elf". He claims his friend got a second hand phone years ago and already in the phone was a contact listed "Taco Elf". Being that that was the name, he used he wanted to reach out to the person. The 3 page letter describes the scenerio and asked that I responded back with more information about the phone.
I have no idea about the phone and have never heard of a Taco Elf (although that sounds yummy). I am however very curious about the letter and the sender. The return address on the letter is from Wyoming. The orginal Taco Elf also included an email and phone number. So, Ginny and I decided to call the number and see if we could find out more about the situation.
