Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland to Be Featured in New Harriet Tubman Biopic

Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland continues to explore many different artistic endeavors, and her latest foray into acting has her featured in a new biopic about the American abolitionist Harriet Tubman.

"It’s here!! It’s here!! It’s finally here!!!" the Sugarland front woman shared on social media about the release of the trailer. "I couldn’t be more thrilled to share with you more about this beautiful film in which I was so blessed to get to join!"

Based on the trailer, it appears that Jennifer's character is a villain, a departure from her other acting roles which include Roxie in Chicago on Broadway and Dolly Parton's mother in the "Coat of Many Colors" TV specials. 

The film is set to drop November 1st.
