Lindsay Ell checked off a "bucket list" item this weekend when she played the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood Saturday night (December 7th).
Her expert guitar chops aided her fierce vocal performance, and the intimate venue allowed concert-goers to watch her fingers as they adeptly plucked, strummed, and slid over the guitar strings, creating her unique bluesy, rock-influenced country sound.
She dedicated "Mint" to the members of the audience who were in love, as well as to those still waiting for love, and implored the gentlemen to make their women feel like "the narrator in "Champagne."
The crowd proudly sang along with her as she performed her first #1 hit (recorded as a duet with Brantley Gilbert), "What Happens In a Small Town," and followed it up with her current single, "I Don't Love You," before finishing with a rousing rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered."
Opening the show was American Idol runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson, who played an acoustic set of originals and covers from Luke Combs and Post Malone, as well as one of his musical heroes, Tyler Childers, also from his home state of Georgia.
