The K-Frog Family is gearing up for Earth Day with a beach cleanup at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington!
Every year, Audacy stations from all over the nation celebrate Earth Day with environmental community service projects as part of our #1Day1Thing sustainability initiative. In the past, K-Frog has volunteered at Riverside Corona Resource Conservation District, Sale Ranch, and UC Riverside's Community Garden.
Bolsa Chica was once called "Tin Can Beach" but thanks to ongoing efforts of staff and volunteers, Bolsa Chica State Beach is now a beautiful place to visit, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to its location both day use and overnight camping.
Today, Bolsa Chica State Beach has one of the biggest beach cleanup programs in the state with over 6,000 volunteers a year! All ages and group sizes are invited to join these cleanup efforts.
Here at Audacy, we believe that one person doing one thing is good, and that all of us doing our one thing, together, is better.
When we each share our one thing, it becomes a hundred things, a thousand things, a million things for our planet.
