On Saturday, March 7th, Central Park in Rancho Cucamonga will be filled with neighbors walking and running side-by-side for the Veterans Wellness 5K & Resource Fair, hosted by Marsell Wellness Center. It’s a non-competitive event designed to honor veterans while connecting them — and their families — with real, accessible wellness resources. Veterans can participate at no cost, kids 12 and under are free, and the first 500 participants will receive a medal, but more than anything, this day is about community, inclusion, and support.
Marsell Wellness Center works every day to support mental wellness, foster families, and parents who are doing their best — often without enough help or guidance. Havier Blanco, Senior Vice President, and Megan Moreno, Director of Business Operations for Marsell Wellness Center, discuss what families and caregivers are really asking for right now, why support and education matter so much, and how bringing people together — whether through services or a simple 5K — can strengthen an entire community.
