It was a perfect July evening under the stars at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula by the time Matt Stell took the stage Friday evening (7/7), and the abundance of almond champagne didn't hurt either!
Matt captivated the crowd with hits like "Prayed for You" and "Everywhere but On," but fan favorites like "Roots in This Ground" and "If I Was a Bar" had the crowd signing along as well. He described "Shut the Truck Up" as being about "heart breaks and old trucks," and noted his love of being an uncle ahead of "Roots in This Ground." His medley of covers included '90s country from Shenandoah as well as songs from Blink 182 and the Killers. He wrapped up the set with the brand new "Heart Breakin' in Boots."
