National University has just launched the "ANDers Movement," a new campaign honoring the resilience of nontraditional students — those balancing school and work, and parenting, and military service, and so much more.
One of the faces of the campaign is Kristian Estrada, a San Bernardino native, U.S. Navy veteran, and father of five, who returned to finish his degree while raising his family and working full-time. Today, he’s paying it forward as a nonprofit director helping provide housing and medical care for people experiencing homelessness.
Kristian discusses the campaign, his inspiring journey, and why National University says it’s time to rethink what a “typical” college student looks like in today’s world.
