For over 10 years, ReWritten has been working to improve the quality of life for young people who are living with the burden of an absent father. To fill the void left by their fathers, young people will often turn to drugs to feel good, promiscuity to feel loved, and gangs to belong. ReWritten, based in San Bernardino, believes it doesn't have to be that way. They're hosting their annual charity gala on Wednesday, December 13th at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside to raise funds in order to continue their life-affirming mission. Frank Perez, CEO for ReWritten, discusses this event and the impact that ReWritten is having on the lives of young people.
